The Air & Space Forces Association Wright Memorial Chapter welcomed members, supporters, educators, military and community leaders to its chalet during the 2026 Dayton Air Show, providing guests with an outstanding venue to enjoy one of the region's premier aviation events while strengthening connections among those who support Airmen, Guardians, and their families.

The chapter extends its sincere appreciation to Chris Mardis for leading the planning and execution of this year's chalet event. His dedication, along with the efforts of numerous chapter volunteers and the catering staff, ensured a memorable experience for attendees. Special thanks are also extended to Vita Eonta, whose thoughtful decorations transformed the chalet into a warm and inviting space for guests throughout the weekend. Their hard work and commitment exemplify the spirit of volunteerism that makes events such as these possible.

In addition to witnessing the exciting aerial demonstrations, chapter leaders were honored to spend time with the Wright Memorial Chapter's Teacher of the Year, who was recently recognized as Ohio's Teacher of the Year, and her family. Her accomplishments reflect the important role educators play in inspiring the next generation of innovators, scientists, engineers, and military leaders.

The Dayton Air Show continues to showcase the Miami Valley's rich aviation heritage while serving as a gathering place for military members, veterans, educators, industry partners, and community supporters. Events like the AFA Wright Memorial Chapter chalet help advance the Association's mission of educating the public, advocating for a strong national defense, and supporting Airmen, Guardians, and their families.
