Civil Air Patrol (CAP) Programs

The Civil Air Patrol is a federally chartered non-profit corporation that is also the Air Force auxiliary. CAP's mission is supporting America's communities with emergency response, diverse aviation and ground services, youth development and promotion of air, space and cyber power through aerospace education.



AFA WMC provides leadership and financial support to many local CAP programs throughout Southwest Ohio, such as:


  • Ohio Wing Command (State-Level)
    • Group VII (Group 7) – Southern Ohio (OH-043)
      • Cincinnati, OH Area, Group 1 (OH-044)
      • Columbus Composite Squadron (OH-139)
      • Dayton (Troy) Aero Cadet Squadron 706 (OH-197)
      • Miami Valley Composite Squadron (OH-284)
      • Middletown Pathfinder Composite Squadron (OH-288)
      • Wright-Patterson Composite Squadron (OH-037)
