The Air & Space Forces Association (AFA) Wright Memorial Chapter (WMC) proudly supports our nation’s veterans through ongoing engagement with the Dayton VA Medical Center, Wright State University Veterans and Military Center (WSU VMC), and the United Service Organizations (USO) at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB). Through volunteerism, special events, and donations, we honor those who have served and continue to strengthen the bonds between our community and the men and women who have defended our freedom.
The AFA WMC Veteran Affairs Committee leads year-round initiatives that recognize and support veterans in the Miami Valley community.
Our volunteers serve as Dayton VA Ambassadors, assisting patients and visitors to ensure a positive experience. We sponsor events such as picnics, holiday celebrations, and recognition ceremonies during National Salute to Veteran Patients Week, providing opportunities to express our gratitude to those who have served.
We also coordinate contributions and volunteer support for the USO at WPAFB, the Fisher House, and the WSU VMC—helping to meet unfunded needs and enhance the well-being of veterans and their families.
AFA WMC remains committed to expanding our outreach and sharing resources that benefit the veteran community.
