The annual VA2K event encourages people to live active lifestyles and allows participants to support homeless Veterans through voluntary donations of food and clothing items. The Dayton VA medical center held its event on Friday, May 15th. The VA2K event included a short two-kilometer walk (1.24 miles) around the VA campus and around the grotto.  Members from the Wright Memorial Chapter of the AFA took advantage of the nice weather to walk and supported this event with a donation of beef jerky snacks.
